British Asian 32 Years of Age He/Him
I have a clear memory of sitting in front of my tv at the age of 13, crossed legged and fixated at Jennifer Lopez in the 'Love Don't Cost A Thing' music video. I remember thinking to myself, that’s what I want to do with my life! That very day my Mum signed me up for tap classes, not quite what I had in mind but it was a start. Over time I found my purpose in life and my true passion. Gradually I filled my childhood evenings with every style of dance possible. I never imagined in my wildest dreams I would be sat here writing this in my 30’s having performed all over the world, looking back at my performing career with pride. At the age of 17 I was awarded a full Scholarship to the prestigious Bird College. After graduating in 2010 I went on to become a company member of INKO Contemporary Dance Company where I trained and performed all over the UK. Since then I have danced for many artists such as Little Mix, Fleur East, Robbie Williams, Louisa Johnson, Craig David, Alexandra Burke and Take That. Performing regularly on the X Factor Live Shows as well as the X Factor Arena Tour, Rocket Man Film for Elton John, Pirates Of The Caribbean Film and Death Of The Nile Film. I also performed in events such as the Brit Awards, Summer Time Ball, Jingle Bell Ball in iconic venues like the O2 Arena, Wembley Arena and The London Palladium. Another highlight was landing the role as one of the legendary boyfriends in the Original Cast of the Judy Garland SongBook UK Tour working with Judy Garland’s daughter herself, Lorna Loft. I’m so thankful to have had such a long and fulfilling career. However as I navigated through my life I have found a new passion, a passion to create.
